Herbs traditionally used for atopic conditions and for upper respiratory irritation may have anti-allergic
mechanisms. Albizia contains saponins with mast cell stabilising properties and is combined with adhatoda which has
exhibited anti-histamine activity in-vitro. Liquorice has been shown in animal studies to dampen
respiratory inflammation by inhibiting neutrophil infiltration, TNF-alpha production as well as reducing airway
constriction.
May increase Th1/Th2 ratio
Th1/Th2 ratio is often unbalanced in allergic conditions. Allergeze for Kids contains Moducare™ alongside
traditional allergy herbs and vitamin C which has been shown in animal studies to increase the Th1/Th2 cytokine
ratio in allergic airway inflammation. Similar studies have shown it also enhances leukocyte activity,
antimicrobial action and natural killer cell activity.
Directions
Children 1 to 4 years: Mix 1 scoop (4 g) into 50 mL of juice. Take once daily with food, or as directed by your healthcare
professional.
Children 5 to 12 years: Mix 1 scoop (4 g) into 50 mL of juice. Take twice daily with food, or as directed by your
healthcare professional.
